Vintage 2019 - Autumn Release

The Other Right - Counting Stars 2019

Counting Stars 2019

In 2018 we started working with a new vineyard in Carey Gully, managed and grown by Mark Sekerin. It almost sounds like a dream: 2 hectares in a prime spot, planted with 100% Chardonnay, converted to organic practices since we’ve been there. We are very excited to continue developing our relationship with Mark and keep working with this vineyard, grown with so much attention and care.
Counting Stars is a Chardonnay as you like it on the riper side. Refined, plush and juicy. Aged in old oak, untopped. It brings us lots of joy and comfort.

FAWN 2019

Coming from the same Carey Gully vineyard as Counting Stars but picked almost 2 weeks earlier, it's a Chardonnay as you like it on the leaner side. More zingy, citrusy, mineral, a little bit nervous, perfectly suited to be enjoyed at room temperature during winter months.*

The Other Right Wines - Moonshine 2018

Sunshine On My Skin 2019

All the Viognier grapes we are sourcing are coming from two vineyards in Mt Torrens, Adelaide HIlls. Both vineyards yielded a very low crop in 2019, just like most other vineyards in the region.
As a result, we combined both to make one wine, and that is our 2019 Sunshine. It's as exciting as its predecessors, and possibly even more.

The Other Right - Dreams and Visions 2019

DREAMS AND VISIONS 2019

Pinot Noir is a variety that keeps puzzling us. It's a constant quest to try and understand its mysterious moves. On the contrary, Frewin and Candice who meticulously farm Arranmore vineyard, have a bit of a grasp of how to grow such brilliant fruit - it’s the only way to explain this wine. Generous, precise and structural, this wine is all about the nuances we’re delighted to discover in this mutant of a grape variety.

UNFURL 2019

As always, will keep your soul warm during winter months. Not only warm, but also elated.
Even on a year such as 2019 - dry and challenging, still grown with absolutely no sprays of any kind and no irrigation, watered only with love and thoughtful attention (must be some magic involved too). Ernst and his vineyard just can’t go wrong, by the looks.
