Calypso Wine Party 2024

Calypso was born from a desire to bring together the spirit of hospitality and the power of community, camaraderie and cheer. We believe in more is more. There’s something magic about the pulse of a party filled with an abundance of kind and knowledgeable people, delicious wine and food and an unwavering intent to have fun.
Calypso sets the scene for a space where our community connects and grows, where conversations are curious, where ideas grow and where expression, passion and generosity are at the core of everything that's created and cultivated.
Above all, Calypso is a day dedicated to the importance of pleasure and play and sharing space with people we love.

Hosted by Anna Clifford and Claudelle Savannah, long term friends & colleagues, it was a natural progression to create an event that pays homage to the wine’s that have kept us high in spirits and to the people who have grounded and supported us over the last decade or so.

TICKET INCLUDES:
- Tasting 1pm - 4pm
- Party 1pm - 10pm
- Calypso 2024 Wine Glass, PLUS a variety of mediterranean food available, and music late into the night.

IT'S BEEN A MIGHTY COUPLE OF YEARS FOR EVERYONE. SOMEHOW WE MANAGED TO LAND THE EVENT BETWEEN COVID STORMS LAST YEAR, BUT MANY OF OUR FRIENDS WERE UNABLE TO ATTEND.

SO WE'VE INVITED EVERYONE. ALL OF THE GOOD PEOPLE WE ADMIRE AND ENJOY AND WHO HAVE SUPPORTED US OVER THE YEARS.

WE WILL BE HOSTING SOME OF AUSTRALIA'S MOST THOUGHT PROVOKING SMALL PRODUCERS OF WINE, BEER AND SPIRITS... ALONG WITH OUR LEADING IMPORTERS OF ARTISAN WINES INTO THE COUNTRY. AND WE'VE EVEN GOT OUR FIRST "INTERNATIONAL" VISITORS WITH A SMALL CONTINGENT FROM NEW ZEALAND HEADING OVER!

Top Soil Festival 2022

TopSoil Festival 2022

Top Soil: A food and wine festival

Welcome to Topsoil! A regional farming and culture festival that takes a closer look at our hyper-local food system.

A food and culture festival that puts farmers first!!

Why do our experts think we only have 59 harvests left?

What does hyper-local/food-miles/organic/biodynamic/sustainable etc. even mean?

Where does your food & booze come from?

How can I contribute to a more ethical/moderate food system.

We will be there with selected wines from our Autumn Release and very happy to have Ernest Sigel, our legendary Sellicks Hill grower accompanying us and talking about sustainability in his vineyard.

What a Fizzer II

What a Fizzer II

What A Fizzer, the fizzy wine tasting party of pet nats, grower Champagne, Lambrusco, small batch sparkling wines and, of course, select cider and wild ferment beers. The date is set for round two of this landmark festival - Saturday 30 November 2019. Country wine fair meets old school pub meets interesting and delicious fizzy wines/drinks – you know you want in on this off-kilter event.

Brought to you by P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants, the Unicorn Hotel and Mary's, tickets ($50/$80/$100 options + bf) let you taste more than 100 wines, beers and ciders from all the legendary producers represented or attending, and, wow, you get a snack pack included in your ticket featuring a Mary's burger or a Mary's vegan option.

Heaps of fizz, heaps of snacks, all at the Unicorn Hotel. The ticketed tasting goes from 1pm to 5pm. After the ticketed tasting it's the after-party (free entry) with a special Unicorn x Mary's food menu and a secret, crazy, baller wine list rolling on post 5pm. Just like last year, the party goes until late because hey, the Unicorn resides in the land beyond the lock out zone. Entertainment will be rolling all day.

As per last year, P&V Merchants will also be stocking a huge, one-off, one-stop bottle shop full of all manner of fizzy things to take away. Like last time, the pop-up bottle shop is righteously timed for the festive season, and free to browse for anyone at the event and open for those just swinging by the Unicorn Hotel for a look-see. The bottle shop will be one of the largest, single focus fizz collections anywhere on planet earth ever, or something like that. All wines will be at special, discounted retail prices for the day.

This is a unique event that sold out super-fast in 2018 – don’t delay on locking down your tickets. Likewise, throw the date in your diary for anyone and everyone who wants to browse and shop the pop-up, fizz-focused bottle shop. Come one, come all. See you there! x

Preparation: Foraging, Fermenting & Feasting

Adelaide friends!
We're super excited to share with you this coming event -
Preparation: Foraging, Fermenting & Feasting with the bright-eyed Tiffani of Conscious Lifestyles. A full day in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, mushroom foraging, a long table vegetarian feasting and of course wine! The most perfect way to spend a wintery day! 🍁🍄🍷✨
Please get your tickets FAST if you'd like to join as the shed is small and the places are limited!

'Preparation' refers to the process traditional food cultures went through in the lead up to winter, in order to capture and store Autumns abundance - in this case - the grapes, fruits, wild mushrooms and vegetables of the Adelaide hills & nearby; foraging, fermenting or preserving them to enjoy over winter and beyond. This event celebrates this process and the pending winter solstice.
