LOC Tasting Series with Alex Schulkin from The Other Right

We’re very excited about this one - an intimate tasting session at our local spot LOC Bottle Bar!

For the first time we are going to taste some wines from the past. We think they travelled well!

We are bringing a selection of our wines from both previous and current vintages, and get a couple of hours to sit, taste, and chat about wine, the Hills, and why we loves doing what we do!

Featuring four of our wines, and a surprise selection from Alex of a wine that he loves but didn't make himself - all to enjoy alongside a light snack from LOC.

We are excited to be part of Ferment the Dinner alongside friends and one of the most exciting chefs we know. This one is going to be special. Come join us!

The inaugural FERMENT the DINNER will be held alfresco, under the stars and the watchful eye of Chef Jock Zonfrillo.
Jock will be presenting a FERMENTED FEAST, he has selected 8 Australian chefs and 8 South Australian winemakers, each course is carefully prepared with fermentation in mind and the wines are all natural ferments!
CHEFS:  Karena Armstrong (The Salopian Inn), Adam James (Rough Rice), Jock Zonfrillo (Restaurant Orana), Oliver Edwards (The Summertown Aristologist), Duncan Welgemoed (Africola), Mat Lindsay (Ester), Emma Shearer (Lost Loaf), Mitchell Lloyd (Woodside Cheese Wrights)
8 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN WINEMAKERS: Alex Schulkin (The Other Right), Anton Van Klopper (Van Klopper Wines), Wayne Ahrens (Small Fry Wines), Gareth Belton (Gentle Folk), Taras Ochota (Ochota Barrels), Brendan Keys (BK Wines), Charlotte Hardy (Charlotte Dalton Wines), Tom Shobbrook (Shobbrook Wines)
Each duo will be presenting one course of the eight course degustation entirely based around fermentation, matched with natural, minimal intervention wines.

Young Gun of Wine UNCUT - Adelaide

For the first time in it’s eleven year history, Young Gun of Wine comes to Adelaide on Saturday November 19 to unearth the next superstars of wine.

Starting at 7pm, the event, Young Gun of Wine UNCUT, will feature over 60 wines from over 30 (and counting) of Australia’s most cutting edge winemakers. They’ll be transforming a CBD warehouse into a sensory wonderland with the help of Henry Austin, whose celebrated chefs are at the event, preparing dishes from locally sourced wild produce, with a modern spin on yum cha.

It's our first Young Gun of Wine event :) Come party with us!
