It's been an exciting year, with us getting better acquainted with the vineyards and the new shed.
We are now as comfortable as we have ever been with our decision made 3 years ago to give up the last bits of sulfur we were still using in 2015. Another decision made 3 years ago was sticking exclusively to organically grown grapes, which at times means we get less fruit to choose from, and as a result lower volumes of some wines.
As always so far, the wines are a range of colours and characters, but, more so than usually, they are are showing purity and restraint (except the Viognier, that makes up for the rest, being a totally wild beast, so to speak). Along with the now usual Fawn, Unfurl and Sunshine, we've welcomed back All Fruits Ripe, and have taken onboard another Pinot from Carey Gully.
We're excited to present our 2017 Autumn wines and can't wait for them to start travelling and reach you all!
Thank you so much for the support and love!
Big love,
Alex & Galit

If you visited Rootstock Sydney last month you might have been lucky to get your hands on one of those beautiful printed little journals: Scrag End Amuse Two.
Scrag End Journal is the brainchild of Linsey Rendell and Björn who came to visit Basket Range a few weeks ago.
Check out their website for the full story of their visit and if you're passionate about well produced food and wine make sure to follow Scrag End Journal to get news of their next printed issue. It's going to be brilliant.
Thanks for the visit, your beautiful photos and words guys!
It was fantastic to get to know you and we can't wait for the new journal to come out!
xoxo
